Bloomsday in Santa Fe

Produced by JoyceGeek, this year’s Bloomsday celebration once again unites a wide range of the City Different’s performance, multimedia and intellectual talent to bring James Joyce’s extraordinary language to vivid and pulsing life.

Join us for live readings, music, and art from and inspired by Joyce’s life, country and works (mainly Ulysses, of course), plus a special world premiere of the latest installment in JoyceGeek’s DON’T PANIC: it’s only Finnegans Wake short film series.

Showtime is Friday, June 16 at 8:00 pm, but be sure to come early for the cash bar, music by Jono Manson and Karina Wilson, and an exhibition of Joyce-inspired multimedia artwork by Carla Cooper and Deco Freeman.

Guest readers for this year’s show include Lynn Goodwin, John Flax, Tara Khozein, Martha Franks,  Max Walukas,  Sabina Dunn, Pen La Farge, Leslie Harrel Dillen, Dylan Marshall, Grant Franks, and Mary Woods, and hosted as always  by ‘JoyceGeek’ Adam Harvey.
