Santa Fe International Film Festival
The Santa Fe International Film Festival opens Oct 19, and comes to a close Oct 23, boasting more than 300 hours of programming, more than 100 visiting filmmakers, and red carpet premieres. The annual festival flows throughout downtown Santa Fe and its Railyard district day and night at 4 theaters, screening independent and international films, plus receptions, panels, and discussions with movie makers. Dubbed “a young Sundance” by indieWire, SFiFF presents a program of top international films, indigenous films, USA independents, Green Earth Program, special screenings, documentaries, masters discussions, and film panels. SFiFF’s five days of cinema and special events take place in Santa Fe’s beautiful, historic theaters and popular downtown restaurants. Cinephiles, filmmakers, and movie-goers take advantage of Santa Fe’s unique shopping and cultural experiences, as well as autumn hikes through golden aspen trees. SFiFF audiences delight in industry networking events and meeting established film professionals in a setting of creative focus.
