Job Description:
The Jean Cocteau Cinema, a Highgarden Entertainment company located in Santa Fe's Railyard, is seeking a committed bartender/concessionaire to provide excellent service to patrons. Reporting to the Theatre Manager, the bartender/concessionaire will staff the bar/concessions counter; duties include serving alcoholic beverages and other concessions items as well as selling movie tickets, adding to a great atmosphere, and enhancing creative experiences and events for all visitors.
The Jean Cocteau is a small theater with a capacity of 76; the staff is collaborative and hands-on.
Responsibilities:
Open the bar for service, serve customers at the bar/concessions, and manaage guest check in..
Maintain cleanliness and supplies including taking out trash, restocking bathrooms, etc.
Assist in preparing for and working at events.
Follow quality and safety controls.
Support a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons.
Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive experience for all guests
Requirements and skills:
Excellent customer service skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain professional in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Understanding of mixology, serving limits, and legal compliance issues related to alcohol service.
Ability to work with diverse personalities.
Ability and willingness to be flexible and contribute in other areas, as needed.
Pay and Benefits:
From: Pay starts at $14.60 per hour + tips
Benefits: Benefits include PTO and discounts on movies, merchandise, and events, as well as merchandise at Beastly Books.
Job Type: Part-time and Full-time, non-exempt.
Education, Certifications, Experience:
2+ years customer service experience in Food & Beverage (F&B), concessions/ticketing, restaurant/bar service or retail.
Current NM alcohol service certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days, to be paid by the company.
Current NM food handler certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days, to be paid by the company.
Point of Sale (POS) experience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk, stand, for prolonged periods and occasionally carry heavy items.
Follow all CDC sanitization requirements and prevailing masking/distancing/capacity ordinances, if applicable.

Consistent availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 11am-7pm and fluctuating hours depending on showings and events, up to 10pm?"
